Fee Arrangements

The Hamilton Law Firm believes strongly that legal services should be as affordable as possible to those needing them.  When representing a personal injury plaintiff, the Hamilton Law Firm typically pays all costs associated with the lawsuit. It earns a fee only if the plaintiff recovers damages at trial or a monetary award is achieved through settlement.

In other types of litigation, the Hamilton Law Firm may use traditional hourly billing. But in an appropriate case, it also offers other billing arrangements and payment options. These include flat fees and a modified contingency where a client pays only costs. These arrangements can reduce legal costs, sometimes substantially, and allow clients to budget more accurately.
